Petit Fours, Chocolate Matzo (D/P, KLP, TNT)

8 matzos
1/4 cup wine, plus more for matzos
2 ounces dark chocolate
Chocolate Cream (click here for recipe)
Glazed cherries, for garnish (optional)
Nuts, for garnish (optional)
Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)

Soak matzos in wine for 1 minute.

Melt chocolate in 1/4 cup of wine.

Butter 2 flat plates or cardboard covered in foil.

Soak 2 matzos and put each on a plate, spread with chocolate cream, repeat. When you have 4 tiers each, spread with chocolate melted in wine.

Chill until firm and cut into diamonds. Garnish with glazed cherries, nuts or whipped cream.
