Quiche, Cheese-Onion (D, TNT)
Source: My modification of a recipe by David Friedman
Serves: 6-8

9" pie crust (I just buy the pre-made frozen ones)
4 medium onions (I usually use yellow, sometimes white)
butter or oil (for frying)
8 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
8 oz. grated mild cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoon dried sage
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
handful currants (I use dried)

Chop onions, sauté in butter or oil until soft. Transfer to bowl, mix in everything else, blend well. Fill crust and bake uncovered at 350°F for about 30-35 minutes, until the top browns.
