1 large carrot
Mix everything together, form into roll and place in tin foil. You can bake it in the foil as is or do what I do and place it in a "Pesachdike cholent" (Basically meat and potatoes--what else!!!!) and let it cook with the cholent overnight. Also, I forgot to add one of the ingredients--pepper. Again, use as much or as little as you like. This is the kind of recipe you can play around with. Add celery, if you like or sweet potatoes. Experiment.

Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
1 onion, grated
1/2 cup oil
1 large potato
1-1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
3/4 cup potato starch
1 egg
Water, as much is needed to hold mixture together
There is no matzo meal in this recipe. Our family custom is not to eat "gebrokts" on Pesach. I have never frozen this. I would hesitate, since there are raw potatoes in this recipe and the texture might be affected if put in the freezer. It such a simple recipe, it just pays to make it fresh.
