Casserole, Zucchini-Vegetable (D)

Serves: 4

2 medium zucchini, sliced
2 green peppers, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
3 ounces American cheese, 4 slices
bread crumbs
butter

Layer in buttered casserole:
1st layer, zucchini
2nd layer, peppers and onions sautéed in butter
3rd layer, sliced tomatoes
4th layer, slices of American cheese
5th layer, bread crumbs dotted with butter

Bake one hour at 250°F. Cover last 15 minutes.

Poster's Notes:
The baking temperature seems rather low to me, but I haven't tried the recipe yet.
