3 cups mashed sweet potatoes or yams: canned, boiled or baked
Topping:
Mix all but topping and pour in casserole dish.
Mix topping ingredients (crumbly) and pour over.

1 stick melted margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
Crushed pineapple to taste (optional)
1 cup light brown sugar
2/3 cup melted margarine
1 cup chopped nuts
l/3 cup self rising flour
This sweet potato casserole is a favorite of everyone in my school. We call it a Thanksgiving Treat. The topping makes it special. Reheats easily.
