Onions, Baked (D, KLP)

1 cup clarified butter
3 pounds onions, peeled and sliced

Stir butter into onions in a 9"x13" baking pan. Bake for 1-1/2 hours, or until golden brown in color. Stir occasionally. Cool. Refrigerate until needed. (May be stored in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks)
