1 package asparagus
Trim and break each stalk of the asparagus at the place where it breaks naturally when bent. Place in a skillet with salted water and cook 3 to 6 minutes until tender then rinse under the tap water and set aside.
In a microwave dish, heat half of the margarine or butter and the oil for one minute to melt, add the garlic, half of the lemon juice, scallions, matzo meal, and salt. Micro cook for 2 minutes, stirring fter 1 minute.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
4 tbsp. lemon juice, divided
2 tbsp. scallions, chopped
2 tbsp. matzo meal

Heat the asparagus in the microwave, sprinkle with salt. Heat the remaining 2 tbsp. margarine or butter and lemon juice, pour over the asparagus, then sprinkle the crumble over the middle of each stalk.
