1 large onion, minced
Fry a large onion and some garlic in olive oil.
Add one bottle of tomato juice. Fill the bottle with water, add to pot.
Add several carrots. Season according to taste.
Cook for about an hour. Serve garnished with fresh herbs.
Options:
Add a can of corn (rinse first)
Kneidelach look pink in this soup.
Poster's Notes:
I use fresh ground pepper, some hot paprika (or a fresh hot pepper if I have one at home), and as much fresh oregano as I have in the garden. You can add a little onion or mushroom soup mix if you use them.
I don't know what canned tomato soup tastes like. Here is an easy recipe.

Thicken with cornflour (cornstarch) at the end.
Some seasonings to use are pepper, paprika, oregano, etc.
