Red plums
Cut up the fruits into small pieces (no need to peel them). Cover with water; add sugar, a few cloves, and a few cinnamon sticks.
Cook for 20 minutes or longer (until the fruits pretty much disintegrate). Remove cloves and cinnamon sticks.
Blend some of the soup with a hand blender/food processor if you want it to be smooth with some fruit pieces. Blend it all if you want it to be smooth.
Poster's Notes:
The plums should be the base of the soup--just throw in a few of the other fruits if desired.

I didn't have whole cloves so I used ground cloves. The "clove" taste was a bit stronger, but still good.
