Cabbage Soup I (P)

1 large cabbage
4 large potatoes
2 medium onions
4 qt. water
8 celery stalks
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Boil cabbage in large Dutch oven in water.

After 1 hour add chopped onion, diced celery, diced potatoes, salt, pepper, and tomato sauce. Cover tightly with lid and cook 1-1/2 hours more.

Poster's Notes:
Here's one I found that uses no sugar. This one is pretty basic.
