Sweet and Sour Sauce IV (P, TNT)

Yield: About 1-1/2 quarts sauce

1 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 10-ounce can tomato soup
2 tbsp. dark soy sauce
1alt and pepper to taste
30 ounces tomato juice

Bring sauce to a slow boil. Drop meat balls onto sauce and bring back to a boil and simmer for 1-1/2 hours.

Poster's Notes:
Just cooked it yesterday with chicken meatballs for today's supper. It is better next day. Can be used for meatballs, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, etc.
