Barbecue Sauce, Sweet 'N Sassy (P, KLP, TNT)

Yield: About 3 cups

1 cup applesauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 cups brown sugar, lightly packed
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. each salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine all ingredients in an 8-cup Pyrex measure and microwave uncovered on HIGH for 5 to 6 minutes, until boiling and thickened.

Keeps about 1 month in the refrigerator.

Recipe can be halved and microwaved in a 4-cup microsafe bowl. Cooking time will be 3 to 3-1/2 minutes on HIGH.

This BBQ sauce recipe should work for Passover as all ingredients are available.
