2 cups cream
In an electric blender or food processor grind the cream cheese and the cream. Then transfer to a saucepan.
Heat; then add the butter, garlic, salt and pepper and then the Parmesan cheese. Cook about 5 minutes and serve.

Note that the real Alfredo Sauce just has butter and fresh grated Parmesan cheese. All the other ingredients are U.S. additions.
