4 green onions, cut in 1" pieces
For Dressing:
Toss together all salad ingredients and place in a serving bowl. This can be done a few hours before serving.
In a glass jar, mix all dressing ingredients, and store separately from the salad. NOTE: use lemon juice and vinegar with discretion, add some and adjust taste later.
Before serving, toss together and serve immediately.

Last Thursday the celebrity of the day was a woman called Orna Datz. She is a singer, part of a duo with her husband and they are called Datz Ve (and) Datzah.
So here is Datzah's salad--I made it for Friday's dinner and it was a huge success.

4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cubed
100g (3 oz.) raisins
1 head of lettuce, torn by hand to bite size pieces
100g (3 oz.) roasted sesame
1 can roasted peanuts (not knowing what size can, I used 100g/3 oz.)
3 tbsp. apricot jam
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup vinegar
Juice from 1 lemon
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. mustard
