6 medium or 3 large cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
Layer cucumbers in bowl. Add onions.
In jar with tight-fitting lid, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, ginger, chives, and oregano. Shake well. Pour dressing over cucumbers and refrigerate.
