1 carton bean sprouts
Mix all but first three ingredients.
Toss with the raw sprouts, carrots, and the scallions. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

2 scallions, thinly sliced white and green parts
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. oriental rice vinegar
1 tsp. dark sesame oil
3 tbsp. salad oil
1/4 tsp. granulated garlic
Several sprigs of fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
1 tbsp. sesame seeds, preferably toasted
