Bean Salad, Sweet and Sour (Four Bean Salad) II (P, TNT)

Serves: 8-10

Dressing:
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup salad oil
1/2 tsp. pepper

Salad:
1 can kidney beans
1 can chick peas (garbanzo)
1 can wax beans
1 can cut green beans
1 purple onion, cut up

Make Dressing:
Mix together dressing ingredients.

Make Salad and Assembly:
Drain all canned beans. Put in a bowl with onion.

Add marinade. Chill, and let marinate to taste.

Poster's Notes:
I use canola oil for the salad oil. This is a recipe that I've made for years. Delicious!
