1 can wax beans
Drain and rinse beans; combine in a large salad bowl. Add onion and green pepper.
Mix together sugar, oil, and vinegar in a small saucepan; heat slightly, stirring to dissolve sugar. Pour over beans.
Marinate overnight in the refrigerator, stirring once or twice. Pour off excess juice before serving.
