2 tbsp. fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
Whisk together the sage, white wine, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, and salt and pepper in a large, shallow bowl.
Meanwhile, heat the beans in their liquid in the microwave or in a small saucepan until just simmering. Drain and rinse the beans, and add them to the sage mixture. Toss the beans to coat them thoroughly with the dressing.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the salad sit two hours to allow the flavors to blend.
