Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
2-3 kinds of lettuce, cut by hand into edible sizes-wash, dry and refrigerate
3-4 kinds of sausages (such as good salami), cut in very thin slices
2-3 kinds of pastrami, smoked, from beef or just from turkey, cut in strips
1 garlic clove, crushed very fine
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons vinegar + pinch sugar
1/3 cup oil
salt and ground fresh pepper
The prepared sausages you mix, then assemble into a small bowl, squeeze the sausages and make like a half ball. Cover with nylon wrap, and keep in the refrigerator for farther use.
In a bowl mix with a whisker the first 3 ingredients, add slowly the oil while you whisk all the time until you get a nice creamy dressing. Add salt and ground pepper. Taste and add any more flavor if you want. Keep in refrigerator for further need.
Now to arrange the plate:
In a wide not too deep plate, arrange the sausages by sliding it from the bowl into the center of the plate. Around it, place the mixed lettuce and some of the lettuce put on top of the sausages (I like to "conceal" them), not too much. Scatter some black olives around and some cherry tomatoes too. Just before serving, pour the dressing over all, and the sausages too.
Pick some of the sausages from the center and beside it put some of the lettuce. Serve with home baked bread, rolls, and biscuits.
