3-1/3 cups boiling water
Melt margarine in sauce pan, sauté chopped onion, green pepper, garlic and sliced mushrooms.
Add rice, stir to coat rice. Dissolve mushroom soup mix in boiling water and add to rice, add salt and pepper to taste.
Lower heat, cover and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 40 minutes.
