4 16-ounce cans vegetarian baked beans
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9"x13" casserole dish.
In large bowl, mix together beans, pineapple, molasses, barbeque sauce, mustard, "bacon" bits, and 1/3 of the onions. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour into prepared dish and sprinkle remaining crushed onions on top.
Cook in oven for 1 hour or until beans are brown and bubbly.
Poster's Notes:
The above is the recipe as shown on the web site with just the ingredients adapted for my use. On the TV show, Paula Deen mixed 3/4 of the onions and none of the bacon bits into the bean mixture. Then she used the rest of the onions and the bacon bits as the topping.

Paula Deen today had a show in which she featured a baked bean dish that at first sounded over the top to me. But the more I thought of it, the more interesting it sounded. I just made a 1/4 recipe and it is surprisingly good. Sweet, but very, very good and not as sweet as it sounds. I am going to include it in a July 4th BBQ menu.
