2 cans butter beans
Layer ingredients, starting with beans. The amounts are not exact because the width of your pan would require more or less as you layer.
I would layer about 1" of beans, pour the ketchup over the layer to cover, then sprinkle with brown sugar, a tablespoon of vinegar, then shred some beef fry over it. Continue until done with final layer of beef fry.
Bake in oven at 350°F for about 2 to 3 hours.
Can be doubled, etc.

I got the following recipe when attending my cousin's wedding in Philadelphia 35 years ago. My mom and I made it often even though the measurements are exact (haven't done it recently, though). The family loves it.
