1-1/4 cups Concord grape wine
In a saucepan, boil sugar in the wine until it dissolves. Add cranberries and cook, stirring occasionally, until all the cranberries have popped. This can take from 5 minutes to 10 minutes. Chill.
Poster's Notes:
I have frozen it in small containers and have never had a problem in the past 30+ years. Remember! the wine, sugar, and cranberries will be very hot. Be careful.

Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
1-1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 pound fresh cranberries, washed and drained
I have reduced the amount of sugar, used 2 bags of cranberries and increased the wine slightly. Last time I made it I substituted Splenda (not KLP) for 1/2 the amount of sugar.
