1 lb. fresh cranberries
Cut fruit into 8ths or 12ths.
Combine sugar and water and cook until boiling. Add orange and cook until soft (5 to 10 minutes). Add apple and pear.
When nearly cooked, remove from syrup and place in large serving bowl. Add cranberries to remaining juice and cook until they pop. Remove from heat and add all to cooked fruit, mixing gently.
Chill well for 2 days, mixing fruit gently twice a day. Taste after 2 days and add sugar if necessary.
