2 tablespoons vegetable oil
In a medium saucepot, heat the oil and margarine. Add the onion, ginger, and garlic. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes. Add the papaya and cook an additional 4 minutes.
Add the cider vinegar, water, sugar, cloves, allspice, and hot sauce. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer. Cook for 20 minutes, or until thickened.
Puree in food processor and cool completely.
