4 cups stale bread cubes
Rinse 4 bread slices in colander at a time, squeeze most of the water out, put in large mixing bowl. Repeat with rest of bread. Add seasonings to bread in bowl.
Melt margarine in frying pan, sauté onion and celery. Add to bread. Add beaten eggs. Mix all together.
Either stuff and cook inside turkey immediately or put in greased casserole dish, cover and bake at 350° for about an hour. It is done when starting to brown around the edges and a knife inserted in center comes out cleanly.
Poster's Notes:
For the bread, 2 slices of bread = 1 cup cubes. Let the bread stay out a few days to get very dry and stale.
For the poultry seasoning, I use chicken bullion cube, can be pareve or meat.
My daughter asked me for my stuffing recipe. Since I was typing it up for her, I thought I would post it.

1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup margarine

Allow 1 cup per pound of turkey so multiply recipe for amount of turkey you have. I often made 10 to 16 cups.
