Chicken Fricassee w/Meatballs VI (M, KLP, TNT)

Chicken pieces
3 medium onions
1 pound extra-lean ground beef
1-1/2 tsp. salt, divided
1 tsp. pepper, divided
1 tbsp. paprika
1-1/2 tsp. garlic powder, divided
1/2 tsp. MSG
4 tbsp. vegetable shortening
2 eggs
1 medium onion, grated
2 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. or more matzo meal

In a 4-quart pot, dice onions and add vegetable shortening, salt, pepper, paprika, MSG, and garlic powder.

Sauté onions until golden brown. Add pieces of chicken and water to cover. Cook covered until chicken is soft. Make sure that there is enough gravy.

Make meatballs preparing with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, MSG, flour, matzo meal, vegetable shortening and 1 egg, and add on top and around chicken.

Cook on medium fire (I put into 350° oven) until meat is cooked, about 20 minutes. Put 2 tbsp. vegetable shortening in frying pan and add 2 tbsp. flour. Stir until brown. Add slowly to fricassee. Cook 30 minutes.
