Sticky Chicky (M, TNT)

4 lb. chicken parts
Salt and pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dry mustard

Sauce:
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cold water

Rub chicken pieces well with seasonings. Place in a casserole or open roaster, skin side down. Do not add any liquids.

Roast at 400°F for 20 minutes.

Turn skin side up and roast 15 minutes longer.

Make the sauce without the cornstarch and water and pour over chicken pieces. Reduce heat to 350°F and cook 1/2 hour longer, uncovered., basting occasionally.

Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into bubbling sauce. Return chicken to oven and cook 2-3 minutes longer. Can sprinkle with 2-3 tbsp. sesame seeds to garnish if desired. Freezes well.
