Honey Chicken IV (M, TNT)
Source: My cousin, Marsha
Serves: 6-8

3 lb. chicken cut up
Seasoned bread crumbs (garlic, paprika, salt and pepper, try some cinnamon, I always put cinnamon on chicken)
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 stick margarine + 2 tbsp. melted

Melt 2 tbsp. margarine in pan, or use cooking oil spray.

Coat chicken with bread crumbs. Put chicken in pan skin side down. Bake at 375ºF for 20-30 minutes.

Mix together honey, lemon juice, and margarine.

Turn chicken, pour mixture over and turn oven down to 350°F. Bake 1/2 hour more, basting several times.

Poster's Notes:
It's a long-time favorite at our house. Sometimes, I just make wings and serve them for an appetizer.

I got the recipe from my cousin, Marsha. I don't know where she got it. I think she may have gotten the recipe from the company who makes/made Mi-Lem (sp?) drink mix because the original recipe she gave me calls for Mi-Lem instead of the lemon juice.

Also called for more margarine, you can certainly adjust that according to your taste or dietary restrictions.
