Chicken, Cornflake I (M, TNT)

Serves: 4 to 6

1 chicken
1 tablespoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 cup vegetable oil
About 2-1/2 cups corn flakes, lightly crushed, or store-bought corn flake crumbs

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Remove the skin of all the parts except for the wings. Cut chicken breasts into two pieces.

Mix the spices and the oil in one bowl.

Dip the chicken in the spice mixture, and then in the cornflake mixture, and place in a parchment lined (or foil lined) pan. If using disposable pans, there is no need for this step.

Bake for one hour, covered. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 to 40 minutes.
