Chicken w/Onions and Raisins (M, KLP, TNT)

Serves: 15-20 easily (you can add or cut recipe according to need)

8 onions, peeled and chopped
Oil for frying
2 tsp. sugar
300g/10 oz. raisins
10 chicken quarters (I use mainly thighs)
Seasonings: garlic powder, sweet paprika, chili powder (optional), salt, turmeric
2/3 cup water

Fry onions until golden. Add sugar and raisins and fry for 5 minutes more.

Line a large pan with aluminum foil. Season liberally with seasonings, except turmeric. Arrange chicken (cut to two) in one layer.

Season again liberally with seasonings, with turmeric, and arrange on top fried onion mix. Pour water, cover tightly with an aluminum foil, and bake at medium heat for about 1-1/2 hours.
