Chicken Breasts, Ginger-Garlic (M, TNT)

4 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 tsp. grated gingerroot
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 to 3/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
1 tablespoon ketchup/catsup
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tsp. water
8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (about 2 lb.)

In a small bowl combine garlic, gingerroot, salt, red pepper, black pepper, cinnamon, and cardamom. Stir in ketchup, vinegar, and water.

Brush both sides of each chicken breast with garlic mixture. Place chicken in shallow baking pan. Bake uncovered, in 375° oven for 45 to 55 minutes or until no longer pink.
