Pear Tart (P, TNT)

1 batch of sugar cookie dough
3-4 thin-sliced pears
2 tablespoons sugar, divided
dash nutmeg
1 tablespoon amaretto

Last fall, I made a wonderful pear tart. I used sugar cookie dough for the crust and sliced the pears very thin and layered them in a whirling pattern within the crust.

Between each layer, I sprinkled about 1 tbsp. sugar and a *bit* of nutmeg. When the layering was finished, I splashed about 1 tbsp. amaretto over the top, and about 1 tbsp. more of sugar.

 Baked at 350°F about 20 minutes, if not less! It was great. Practically no work and looked so elegant.
