1/2 cup matzo meal
Mix together the matzo meal, almonds, and sugar. Pour over this mixture the melted butter or margarine, and mix together with a fork until evenly moistened.
Press into the sides of the pan. Set aside to cool and firm (which will be faster in the refrigerator!).
