Apple Pie, Crunch (P, TNT)

Yield: 6 to 8 slices

Filling:
6 large apples (6 cups peeled and sliced)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. butter

Topping:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Make your favorite pie crust.

Mix pie filling ingredients together and pour into crust.

Combine topping ingredients and crumble on top.

Bake at 425°F for 12 to 15 minutes, or 350°F 25 to 30 minutes.

Poster's Notes:
Optional: Add pecans to either pie or topping or both. This is a wonderful apple pie. I love it with a tart apple such as Greenings or Granny Smiths, but use what you prefer.
