2-4 lb. green firm tomatoes or green cherry tomatoes
Cover the bottom of the jar with celery leaves. Cut a small X in the base of the washed tomatoes. Place in the jar.
Add rest of ingredients. Cover with water and coarse salt, using the proportion of 1 tsp. coarse salt for 1 cup water. Close the jar, place in light for a few days, then in dark place.
Ready in 1 week. Keeps 6-7 months.

1 head garlic, separated in cloves
4-5 red sharp peppers (I used green)
