Charoset, Sephardic III (P, KLP)
Source: "Cooking the Sephardic Way," put out by the Sephardic Sisterhood of Temple Tifereth Israel of Los Angeles, CA.
Yield: About 3-1/2 cups

8 oz. pitted dates
8 oz. raisins, either dark or golden variety
2 apples, peeled and pitted
1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped
Orange juice or sweet wine to moisten

Grind fruits together. Add juice or wine to moisten, add chopped nuts and mix to combine.
