1 package yeast
Dissolve yeast in warm water; add in the 1 teaspoon sugar.
Place flour and salt in bowl. Make a well in bowl. Add yeast mixture, melted margarine, remaining 3 teaspoons of sugar, and well-beaten eggs. Knead well. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Divide dough into 8 or 10 pieces. Roll each piece into a circle. Cut the circle into 8 approximately equal wedges with a pizza cutter. Sprinkle generously with filling of choice. Roll each cookie--wide end first.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350°F for 20 minutes.
