9" unbaked pie shell
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Grease cookie sheet or pizza pan.
Remove pie crust from foil pan, dust lightly with flour and roll into 12" circle directly on sheet or pan. Crimp edge of dough to form rim, prick with fork and brush with honey.
Cover with applesauce to rim. Top with apple slice in concentric circles. Sprinkle with nuts and raisins. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Bake 20 minutes or until crust is firm and golden brown.
Cut into wedges. Add chocolate mini-chips, nuts or finely chopped maraschino cherries to garnish.

1/3 cup nuts, ground
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
This was in an article of the NY Jewish Week. I was going to make an apple crisp with Goldi until I saw this, it was tasty, sure, but also a lot of fun for my 3-and-a-half-year-old modern-balabusta-in-training/pizza fiend.
