Bow Ties/Nothings (P, TNT)
Source: My neighbor, Sylvia Kurtz
Yield: 24 to 32, depending on size

5 small eggs
1 tsp. salt
2-1/3 cups flour
3/4 cup oil
1 cup sugar or 3/4 cup sesame seeds and 2 tablespoons sugar

Mix eggs, oil, flour, salt, and 1 tsp. sugar. Beat on low until well-mixed in mixer. Mix on high for 4 minutes (no cheating). Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

The dough will still be a little sticky when you take it out, but take it out of the bowl directly on to the sugar or sesame/sugar mixture. Carefully roll it out, using the sugar or sesame from the sides to help make the dough less sticky.

Cut into strips with a pizza wheel and cut the strips to smaller sizes. Twist each strip and place it on the baking sheet.

Bake at 350°F until done, 30 to 45 minutes. They will be golden brown when ready and puff up.

Poster's Notes:
They have to be small otherwise the recipe won't work. Use #3 in Israel.

I have made the recipe many times and it gets easier with every try. Definitely worth the effort.
