1 onion, chopped
Heat oven 350°F.
In large frying pan, sauté onion and mushrooms in 1 tablespoon oil and 3 tablespoons butter and stir until melted. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Add 1-1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and the cayenne. Bring to a boil and cook 1 minute.
Stir in macaroni and 2 tablespoons parsley. Put in 2-quart casserole.
Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Combine bread crumbs, grated cheese, 1 tablespoon parsley, 1 tablespoon oil and the melted butter. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake until browned about 25 minutes.
