Macaroni w/Beef (American Chop Suey) II (M, TNT)

Serves: 8

8 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
1 tbsp. oil
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 lb. chopped meat
1 24-oz. jar tomato-mushroom sauce
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Place oil in a 6- to 8-quart pot over medium heat. Add onion and green pepper pieces, and sauté until soft.

Add chopped meat, and cook until browned.

Add noodles and tomato sauce, stir, and heat through.

Serve with green vegetable or salad.

Poster's Notes:
This is so easy and good. It's one of the recipes my mother used to make for my daughter when we'd come and visit. You could jazz it up with extra veggies, or vary the sauce, but this is a winner.
