2 large onions, minced
In a large deep skillet or a Dutch oven, sauté the onion in the oil until tender.
Add the farfel, cooking and stirring until lightly browned. Add the salt, pepper and paprika to the broth and slowly add it to the pan.
Cook over low heat until all the liquid is absorbed.

Farfel is broken matzos that are thin flakes. They are generally used in the chicken soup.
