Poultry Marinade (Barbecued or Oven Roasted) (P, TNT)

Yield: Enough for about 1 chicken, or 1 turkey breast

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup/catsup
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 tbsp. Vegetarian Worcestershire Sauce (click here for recipe)
1 onion grated
Salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients. Allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Cool before using. Marinate chickens overnight, then barbecue or oven roast.

I didn't cook the sauce, just marinated overnight the turkey breast in a ziplock bag. Then, I baked it in the oven, turning twice, and when the gravy was dry, I added a little boiling water. Delicious sliced cold or even slightly reheated in the microwave.
