8 lamb chops, each 1-1/2 " thick or small lamb roast
Combine vinegar and orange juice in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Lower heat and simmer until reduced by half, about 20 minutes. Add syrup, jalapeno, and cumin. Simmer another 5 to l0 minutes. Remove from heat. Add mint and lime juice, then season with pepper.
Baste lamb chops with glaze and sprinkle with pepper or seasoned pepper. Grill 6 to 7 minutes per side or broil about 5 minutes per side. Brush with additional glaze when turning. Reheat remaining glaze and serve with chops.
