5 eggs
In mixing bowl, beat eggs until light. Gradually beat in 1/3 cup sugar until fluffy.
Soak farfel in cold water until softened. Squeeze out excess water. Add farfel, cottage cheese, sour cream, margarine, raisins, and preserves to egg mixture; blend well.
Pour into a 9"x13" baking dish. Mix nuts, sugar, and cinnamon together. Sprinkle on top of farfel mixture. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour uncovered. Serve warm or cold.

1/3 cup melted margarine
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup apricot preserves
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
I am responding with my coffee cup by my side! This kugel is great hot or cold and I use it as a side for dairy meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
