1/2kg (1 pound) fine noodles
Cook noodles in salt water; rinse and strain.
Beat eggs well and mix with noodles; add salt and pepper. Add the oil.
In a heavy pan, heat the sugar, stirring until sugar starts to brown. Spread the browned sugar in a Pyrex or Corningware dish and cover with the noodle mixture.
Bake in a medium oven for two hours, or until noodles start to brown.
