1 lb. fine egg noodles or angel hair pasta
I use 2 pots.
On low heat stir sugar and oil in one pot. Continue to stir constantly the oil and sugar until it caramelizes.
In the other pot cook noodles according to directions at the same time. Drain noodles and put back in pot.
When caramelized sugar is ready, pour slowly into noodles and stir steadily so it is evenly distributed. Add salt and pepper.
When mixture has cooled (about 30 minutes, I periodically stir) add beaten eggs or egg white. Pour into lasagna pan and cook at 350°F for 1 hour or until solid and top is crisp.
