1 cup onion, chopped
Sauté onions in margarine add vegetables until tender but not brown.
Place farfel in bowl and add hot water and then vegetables. Mix. Mix eggs and spices. Add to farfel.
Bake at 375°F for 35 to 45 minutes.
Poster's Notes:
I usually double the recipe, using a whole box of matzo farfel and I get 2 (or sometimes 3) square tins. I freeze one for the last days and it defrosts great!

1/4 cup margarine

3 cups hot water
1 bouillon cube
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
I don't remember where this recipe comes from anymore, but it is a definite favorite in our house; the kids look forward to it every year.
